It readily responds to hardening and tempering operations between 1100-1350°F. With different heat treatments this steel develops excellent combinations of strength and toughness over a wide range of mechanical properties. stainless steel 410 mesh is resistant to dry atmospheres, fresh water corrosion, and a variety of mild acids and alkaline.
